Local News Bulletins in English are broadcast from 7am – 6pm followed by Urdu / Bengali / Gujrati News in the evening, subsequently IRN news is taken at the top of the hour through until midnight. |

7.Events & Charities we support RNIB – Royal National Institute for the Blind An auction was held recently at Manchester United Football Ground to raise funds for RNIB. Jobs and Events Fairs.: These are held at various times of the year at venues across Greater Manchester in conjunction with JOB Centres etc. Community Road Shows: These are held in conjunction with local advertisers and community centres. Tsunami Disaster Appeal Telephone appeal was held with listener participation – all programmes were held back for the day solely for the purpose of raising money. Pakistan Earthquake Appeal. Appeals for donations were held during normal programming – listener participating helped to generate generous amount of cash. |
